At Drumgooland House, near Newcastle in County Down, Northern Ireland, Frank & Alice Mc Leigh welcome you to a unique taste of luxurious country house living beside Ireland's magnificent Mountains of Mourne.  Set in 60 acres with its own trout stocked lake and adjoining equestrian centre, this large Irish country house has been fully modernized, yet still retains its splendid 100 year-old character.   Each bedroom has en-suite facilities, central heating, double glazing, colour   television and tea/coffee making facilities.

For example there are 6 golf courses within 10 minutes drive, including the  famous Royal County Down Golf Club and its international Links championship course. The majestic Mourne Mountains provide rock climbing and walking. Nearby are sea  and freshwater fishing, sailing and water sports, Strangford Lough's wildlife and scenery, serene and beautiful Carlingford Lough and the   charming  seaside towns of Newcastle, Rostrevor and Warrenpoint. There is plenty of nightly entertainment with  traditional Irish pubs and music locally and many good restaurants.

Drumgooland House is 30 minutes drive from Belfast and the Belfast City Airport and only 10 minutes from the towns of  Downpatrick and Newcastle.
