Booking Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions set out the basis on which the cottages are let.  Please read them carefully as your signature on the booking form confirms that you have read, understood and accepted these conditions.

Choosing your cottage
The descriptions of the  cottages have been prepared to cover the main points only.  If  you require further information, you should contact the manager.

Starting day
Normally our holidays, of one week or longer, start on a Saturday. Weekend and short breaks have varying starting days. We assume that you will arrive at 4 pm on the first day of your holiday and leave by 11am on the last. There is  flexibility in these times so if you wish to change them, contact the manager.

Capacity of  each cottage
The website and our printed brochure specify the number which each may sleep.

Bookings & Payments
When you have decided on your cottage and dates, check on availability by telephone, fax, e-mail or by using our online Booking Enquiry form.  When you have received our confirmation that your chosen cottage is available, print out the Booking Enquiry form, sign and post it to us, together with the booking deposit. On receipt of your deposit, we will issue you with a 'Booking Confirmation and Receipt' which will detail the cost of your holiday and the amount outstanding.

Cheques should be made payable to ‘Mountains of Mourne Country Cottages’ and crossed  “a/c  payee only”.

Once our Booking Confirmation has been issued, you become responsible for the total cost of the holiday.  The balance is due six weeks before the starting date of your holiday.  If you fail to complete payment on time, this will result in cancellation charges being levied as detailed below.

Cancellation charges
If you are forced to cancel your holiday, please contact us at once, and confirm in writing.  Your cancellation becomes effective on receipt of your written instructions.  You are then liable for cancellation charges as follows:

28 - 42 days before starting date

65% of total cost of holiday.

15 - 27 days before starting date
