Kerry Airport is located about 20 minutes drive from either of County Kerry's two main towns - Killarney and Tralee. The airport is about one and a half hours driving time from the cities of Cork and Limerick. The airport has excellent road connections to south and west on National Route N23.
Kerry Airport is the ideal gateway from which to tour the beautiful Ring of Kerry and the Killarney Lakes and National Park area of south-west Ireland by rental car. To the west, about an hour away by road, lies the magnificent Dingle Peninsula. The unique 6th century monastic settlement on the tiny island of Skellig Michael is some 15 kms offshore, reached by a fast boat from Portmagee pier. The island is the second largest gannet colony in the world
There are flights from Kerry Airport to European airports including Dublin, London ( Stanstead), Manchester and Frankfurt.
